I thought this day would never be
And I could see your smiling face
But I know you spoke to the Lord asking for His grace
Lord give me a clean life
She spoke one day
Falling to her knees she begged and prayed
Lord let me walk with you
She called in pain
Can I talk like you?
She proclaimed
Lord let us be like you
And do what we’re supposed to do
Strong woman she was, her spirit so true
Her strength in each of us
God knew what to do
Even though it hurts, we must get through
Our hearts may be shattered and tears will fall
But our angel gained her wings
And it was time to find her way home

"A tree is symbolic of nurturing energies, of the fruit it bears."
I come from a family of strong, intelligent and beautiful women. For that, I am forever grateful. This post is dedicated to my Aunt Ida Fisher who recently passed away. Death is never is easy to deal with. That is why I chose this tree. It symbolizes so many things but most importantly it symbolizes strength. It represents the recovery of illness, family, stability and blessings. This tree shows that no matter what comes it's way it will stand strong because its roots run deep just like my family.
(I do not own rights to the tree of life photo)
